The Uganda Petroleum Institute Kigumba (UPIK) welcomed a delegation from King Ceasor University (KCU) on 8 September 2026 for a field tour aimed at exploring opportunities for institutional collaboration.

The visit provided an opportunity for the two institutions to engage on areas of mutual interest, including skills development, academic collaboration, knowledge exchange, research and innovation.

The engagement forms part of ongoing discussions towards establishing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UPIK and KCU, strengthening partnerships that contribute to Uganda’s human capital development and the growth of the oil and gas sector.

UPIK looks forward to building a meaningful and mutually beneficial partnership with King Ceasor University.
