The Uganda Petroleum Institute Kigumba (UPIK) proudly celebrated its graduation ceremony, marking another milestone in the Institute’s commitment to developing skilled professionals for Uganda’s oil and gas sector.

The ceremony brought together graduates, families, industry partners, and government representatives to recognize the hard work and dedication of students who successfully completed their programs in petroleum and related disciplines.

During the event, UPIK leadership reaffirmed the Institute’s mandate to provide industry-aligned, competency-based training that equips graduates with practical skills required in the energy sector. Graduates were encouraged to uphold professionalism, safety standards, and continuous learning as they transition into the workforce.

UPIK continues to play a pivotal role in building national capacity to support Uganda’s growing petroleum industry.
